Lone’s album ‘Reality Testing’ has proved to be the most successful of his career and will no doubt see itself on a bunch of best of the year lists and ‘Restless City’ proved to be one of the favourite tracks for DJ’s.
‘Restless City’ showcased the albums inspirations of hip hop and house, with a tune that really swung with some classic house beats, yet retained a dusty hip hop feel.
On remix duties is Head High (aka Shed). His ‘Megabox’ doublepack has been one of our favourite releases of the year and he’s delivered a wicked remix.
He’s stripped it right back and aimed it purely at the dancefloor. Recalling some of the classic, jackin’ Chicago house from the 90’s released on labels like Relief.
